For over 35 years the Centre d'Interprétation de la Nature du Lac Boivin (CINLB) continues its efforts to the development, education and conservation of the marshes of Boivin lake, just at a few minutes from downtown Granby .

Identified as an essential staging area, the area was designated as an IBA (Importance Area for the Conservation of Birds) in Canada.

Over 260 bird species have been observed on the site. Meandering an area of ​​1114 acres, four trails lead you to discover the marshes and diverse woodlands that surround it. Also two observation towers offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Our visitor center is the starting point of the trails. The receptionnist will be happy to advise you and guide you before your hike. Please take a moment to come and enjoy the works of art exhibited in the exhibition halls and a walk in the Goose Gift Shop.

During the summer, several themed day camp are offered for children from 6 to 12 years old. For school groups, the CPE or child care services, the nature class is a great activity to teach children about the world of nature.
